Skate with Confidence! 

Hit the ice with confidence when you join our group learn to skate lessons. With the gold package, skaters meet once a week for 12 weeks to learn skating techniques and develop coordination, strength, and balance. This package also includes a free pair of your own ice skates (figure or hockey) and 4 skating passes for admission/skate rental redeemable at any of our public sessions. Our fun and safe program is also a great way to get in shape by building endurance, strengthening your muscles, and increasing your flexibility. Skating alone burns about 250-810 calories per hour, while competitive skating burns an impressive 450-1080 calories per hour. Once class capacity is reached, no additional spots will be sold. All registrants will receive an email with additional information regarding their class the day before classes start (i.e., start times, attire recommendations, and what to expect on the first day). Our classes are open for children (age 4+) and adults.

There are no makeup classes, credits, refunds, or transfers for any no-shows, cancellations, or missed classes within a session. In the event that any LTS series is postponed or the ice facilities are temporarily shut down due to COVID-19 or any similar state or local mandate/health directives, the classes will be paused and will resume when such restrictions are lifted. Under such circumstances, any missed classes shall be added to the series so that all skaters will get the full number of classes originally anticipated. Passes will be handed out on the first day of classes. Skaters can schedule a time to pick up their free skates by emailing Ian at ian@kentvalleyicecentre.net.
