2026 Spring Programs
This is an exciting time of the year as we are launching registration for the first of our spring programs. There are a number of programs coming up that are only offered once per year and are among the most popular and effective in advancing players to the next level in their skills and play. Players may register for as many programs as they wish. Remember, the more time spent on the ice, the faster the players develop their skills!
Learn to Play Hockey
Take your first steps! Our Learn to Play Hockey program runs year-round with a new series starting every 6 weeks. We follow the USA Hockey IP (Initiation Program), which includes fun, skating skills, basic stickhandling and shooting, basic hockey rules, physical conditioning, team play, player safety, and sportsmanship, and targets progressive development that prepares each player to join a team and become members of Kent Valley Hockey Association!
Stick and Puck Sessions
Whether you are a seasoned player looking for a competitive team or a new player wanting to learn the sport, we invite you to grab your stick and join us on the ice. Our stick and puck hockey session costs $20.00 per person. Our sessions are open to players of all ages and abilities. For our current list of stick and puck sessions, see the calendar below or click the Book Now button to purchase your sessions. The Stick and Puck schedule is subject to change. Full gear is required. Please check back frequently for updated calendars.
Private Lessons
Kent Valley Ice Centre is proud to be home to some of the top skills coaches in the Seattle area. In addition to competing at an elite level, our instructors have years of experience coaching some of best youth players in the state. As the game of hockey continues to evolve, our development coaches stay up to date on the latest game tactics and concepts to ensure their students receive the highest quality of instruction. Adult Hockey League
Put your skills to the test in our recreational co-ed league. Kent Valley Ice Centre is happy to host the Kraken Hockey League, Seattle’s largest recreational adult hockey league. The league has games for all ages and abilities, so you can play as casually or as competitively as you like.
