UPDATE – Kent Valley Figure Skating & the impact of Covid-19

We hope all of our skating families and friends are doing well.  It’s hard to believe that just 6-weeks ago, our rink was full with customers and our skating families and friends.  Then overnight, our daily lives were turned upside down and life as we knew it came to a halt.  Things we took for granted, like going for a skate, working out, or visiting with friends, have become fond memories and we all look forward to being able to resume these activities in the future.  Like you, we all wish we were on the ice and we are confident that we will emerge from this challenge healthy, safe, and ready to welcome you all back into the rink and on to the ice soon.

We expect social distancing and other state guidance will modify our lives for some time, but we do expect the continued re-opening of various activities and ultimately the re-opening of rinks and the return of skating.  Please stay tuned for updates as we await further guidance on when and how we will be permitted to open.

Everyone be safe and stay healthy!

The Academy offers small group specialty classes that bridge the gap between Learn to Skate and High Performance. These classes build the strong skating foundation that a skater uses for the rest of their career. This is where skaters can decide to pursue a path of recreational or competitive figure skating.
