Learn to Skate at Kent Valley Ice Centre

Our Learn to Skate program follows the official Learn to Skate USA curriculum, giving every skater a safe, structured path to build confidence on the ice. Classes meet once a week for six weeks and focus on developing balance, coordination, and skating technique in a supportive, fun environment.

Session policy

There are no makeup classes, credits, refunds, or transfers for any no-shows, cancellations, or missed classes within a session.

In the event that any LTS series is postponed or the ice facilities are temporarily shut down due to COVID-19 or any similar state or local mandate/health directives, the classes will be paused and will resume when such restrictions are lifted. Under such circumstances, any missed classes shall be added to the series so that all skaters will get the full number of classes originally anticipated.
